Timber casement windows

Traditional casement windows are mostly seen in the Netherlands, Ireland, Great Britain and America. They are ideal for severe weather situations, when the wind also pressures the casement against the frame, because of the aperture outside.

This profile’s distinctive features include the inner frame and glazing bead’s typical “ovolo” form and the frame surface level with the casement surface.

In the “Retro” variant, a casement window can be created. This type of window is distinguished by its single external pane and small casement profile. Narrow 25mm structural bars may be made with this method.

Main features

  • eaf thickness: 58mm
  • frame thickness: 90mm
  • double glazed unit 24mm, Ug= 1,1 W/m2K
  • warm edge TGI
  • Schlegel weather-seal

Timber sash windows

Traditional Sash windows are mostly found in Northern France, Great Britain, Ireland and USA. These kinds of windows have an up-down sliding mechanism.

Cords and weights are used in sash windows, and they are positioned on both sides. Internal and exterior lintels complete the piece. The weights in the mounted window are accessible through a unique pocket in each window.

We also provide sash windows on sash-mounted springs. As a result, there is more light because the window frame is smaller. The windows have lifts, rings, fitch fasteners, and rollers installed.

The windows’ classical design is referenced by their distinctive exterior horns and the potential for creating wooden, astragal bars.

Main features

  • box thickness: 150mm, 170mm
  • springs hidden in the sashes / or steel weights
  • high quality multilayer timber
  • REMMERS 4-coat painting system

Timber French doors

French doors have upper and side transoms, a moveable mullion, and two sashes. These balconies frequently serve as entry doors, which is why they have robust Maco hinges that can be adjusted in three planes, an Exitex threshold, and a 5-multipoint locking system made by the German firm Fuhr class RC3.

We supply completely glazed French door balconies with plain or ornamental panels and thermal filling. They frequently have trickle vents and bonded wooden Georgian bars.

We may create doors that are specifically suited to each customer’s demands by altering the glass and fittings to suit their preferences.
